Change
Reason for Change;
Where as:
Our membership has been
reduced by 80% over the past 30 years.
Where as:
It will
be more efficient and less costly to the local to have mail-in elections. We
will make a diligent effort to see that every member gets a ballot based on our
most recent mailing address list. We will save money by not having members
manning voting stations. That reduction of manpower is about five people. We
will still have three people to collect the ballots and count the ballots.
Section XXVI

As reads now
d) Secret Ballot: Voting
shall be by secret ballot.
1) Voting
may take place at the plant sites; with the exception of contract
ratifications, which will be conducted at the plant
site.
So be it known:
d) Secret Ballot: Voting
